Ready to Paint
It’s made of porcelain so it comes ready to paint. It also includes a variety of paints and a brush which makes getting started easy. There is only one brush but a cheap paint brush I had worked fine. The colours are bold and easy to use. We didn’t have to add water or anything.
Cherished Conversation
It was the conversation that made the day. We started talking about the paint colours and which ones would be best for which ones. We talked about how colours mix together. We experimented concluding some like red and green make colours that are rather dull (gray). We talked about tea parties and decided we should have a tea party one day after these dry. We noted that this tea set is for make-believe only so we would pretend when we used them. I asked my granddaughter if she paints at school and that led to a conversation about sharing. She happily told me about her friends and school and that sharing is part of friendship.
High Tea
I chuckled when we were finished. Our mini tea set wasn’t quite the same as in the picture but we agreed they are beautiful. When my granddaugther visited next time, her mom stayed and we did, indeed, have our tea party.
